Should any Dolphins be on ESPN’s ‘irreplaceable players’ list?

ESPN has put together a list of 10 so-called irreplaceable players in the NFL for this season and, while perhaps Dolfans should be relieved nobody from Miami made the list, it could be argued that at least one or two Dolphins have an argument to belong.

Of course, as the article points out, if Tom Brady turned out to be replaceable when he was sidelined for the season in New England’s first game last year, it’s hard to argue there is such a thing as irreplaceable.

Is Chad Pennington irreplaceable? Maybe now, but by midseason he might actually be replaced by Chad Henne. Joey Porter? Probably a better argument there, insofar as no other Dolphin got close to his 171/2 sacks last season. Will Allen? With the receivers Miami will be facing, particularly early in the year, there’s a thought.  More – PalmBeachPost.com
